PG: doesn't move forward while in background

Hello, I'm new to this so bear with me. I've only tried PG so far, but for some reason it won't move forward if I have it in the background. I had changed some of the movement keys from the default but I changed them back, WASD for moving and numlock for autorun. Is there anything else I need to change to get it to move?

Sounds like you need to check your lock foreground option in Innerspace Configuration

Right click on your Innerspace icon in your task bar goto Configuration, click Game Configuration tab, Select your game from the Drop Down usually Everquest II (but you could have named it something else) if there is multiples just do this for each one you need it in all of them anyways. Now check the option halfway down the page called Lock Foreground, Click Apply and you should be good.
